Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Numbness In The Finger

I wipd my hand on the tiles of a pool and cut my finger. I removed a slice of the tile from my finger, cleaned it, put on an antiseptic and covered it, Since it happened in the joint of the ring finger, it is tender, swollen, black and blue, and it feels slightly numb at the tip of the finger. What should be done next?

Hi, If I were your treating Doctor for this case , i would straight away put you on a course of antibiotics because yours symptoms indicate that it is a typical case of infected finger. so dont delay and immediately start on cefixime 500mg twice a day for five days and antacids with them. so that infection and swelly , pain everything gets controlled.
