Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In Knee After Injury

I have been wearing an over the counter pull on over the knee elastic bandage all day (and last night) to try and help a little pain I am experiencing on the right side of my right knee after tripping and falling on it several months ago. After tripping and falling directly on it,I sat down and checked it and everything was ok, praise God. A few months later I felt a pain on the right side of my right knee when I was kneeling on my knee. Nothing that is stopping me from normal activities. After wearing the elastic knee support, I just noticed my ankle is quite swollen. Might that be because I ve been wearing it all day while working? I clean houses for a living and was doing that today for six hours.
