Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In Penis After Injury
my friend crashed on his mountain bike / the handle bar pushed into his growing area just above the ball sac. he has been swollen in that whole area for three says. can barely walk and his penis and sac are blackened through to the upper thigh . is there any internal damaging that can occure in that area.
Hello Thanks for query . Your friend has sustained injury to his genital area resulting into swelling of penis and scrotum and penis and scrotum along with upper thigh has blackened .
This clearly suggest internal injury resulting into bleeding which has spread in to subcutaneous plane along the Scarpa's fascia .
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and scrotum.
In the mean while give him broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
