Urologist 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.
If the scrotal doppler ultrasound shows only fluid, there's nothing to worry.
It's suggestive of inflammation, and resolves in about two weeks to a month.
He should always use a scrotal elevation or support, for quicker resolution.
He must complete the antibiotic course and rest for the first week.
After that a review with the doctor is needed.
If you've any other doubts, send a direct question to me,in my name.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
