Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Soreness In The Right Foot
Hello, My name is Rick, and I have a question for you? It started out on my right foot, the big bone by my big toe. Very sore and started swelling, I tried soaking it w/ cold water. It didn t help much. Now my right leg is swollen and red. On the back of my leg I have blisters popping up. looks like it could be cellulitis. I have had two rounds of antibiotics and taking ibuprofen? It really don t hurt except around the bone by my big toe. I ve had this now for about two weeks? what do I need to do? thank you
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history of swelling and soreness, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harshit Bhachech
