Suggest Treatment For Swelling Appears After Intercourse

hello, I think I have bertholonic cyst, cause after sexual interferrence it gets swollen,it is on the right side,it has the size of a pea,but it enlarges after sex, sometimes it burst by itself and formes again, but smaller. I had it form january.I went to a gynecologist but she told me it is just a cyst, she observed it with a mycroscope very closely and precisely. She said that it should be removed, because if we tear it using surgery,it was going to enlarge again. But for all the symptoms I read it is more likely in my opinion to be bertholonic cyst..hmm Can u give me your opinion?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The location and description does indeed match that of a Bartholin's cyst, but I would like to rule out the possibility of this being a blister that can be related to other causes.

I am happy your doctor has examined this well enough and would like to rule out it being a blister, but would feel safer if you would discuss the possibility of this being a blister with your doctor elaborately.

In my opinion, once a Bartholin's cyst has been established as the diagnosis, surgery would be the best option to prevent recurrences.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
