Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Eyes Due To A Injury
My daughter hit her eye on a end table when she fell three months ago. Afterwards she had a swollen eye for a couple days, but then it turned into a bump that looked like a stye. I didn't put the two together that one caused the other. However, after two trips to her doctor and now an appointment with an ophthalmologist, I wonder did the hit to her eye cause the stye or is it a stye at all? Could the hit have caused a stye-like bump that is actually something else?

The injury was 3 months back and has no relation to the present condition.
Stye is due infection of the eye lash by staphyllococcus.
It should be treated as a stye.
