I broke two bones on the side of my foot, the cast was removed two weeks ago. (9 weeks since the brake to date). Able to walk although the swelling dose not go done and I am not able to bend my toes up to push off as I walk. Is this normal and will take time or am I being impatient?
Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic After going through your query I concluded that you are having post fracturestiffness. It is normal to have some stiffness after fracture.Treatment of it is mobilisation exercises of foot and toes. Keeping the limb over the pillow is helpful in reducing the swelling. You should avoid keeping the limb dependent for longer times. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
