Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Knee After An Injury
I fell on my knee on a lumpy parking lot. I was in intense pain at first but after a few minutes not so bad . It s been almost a month and now there is more swelling. I can walk fine, kneeling poses a problem. It seem to swell more every day. I deliver mail so as you might imagine there hasn t been any resting it. It has a low grade pain that never stops! I will try some ice packs. Not sure what else to do. It was a hard fall causing bruising. Can I get away without seeing a doctor?
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think you are suffering from soft tissue injury and ligament pain.Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (diclofenac three times a day after meals). It may take a week time to relief. Vitamin B-complex and vitamin C will help promote healing. However you can get x ray done to exclude fracture .You can see an orthopedician.I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query.
