Suggest Treatment For Swelling On Hand Due To Stinging By Bee

My son was stung by a bee on his hand about 40 hours ago. I was not home at the time, so by the time I saw it, it was swollen. We did not see a stinger. As of last evening, the swelling was worse and starting to go to his wrist. Is there anything we can do?

Good evening mam. The bee sting causes an anaphylactic reaction. It produces lot of swelling, redness at the site along with pain. You should take him to an ER. He ll need some antihistamincs to control the symptoms. As long as he doesnt have breathing problem, you need not be worrried. But do take him urgently. Hope the information was useful
