Suggest Treatment For Swelling On Shin After Hitting By Ball

I got hit on the side of my shin with a tennis ball and the vein immediately bulged and swelled. I have iced it but it is still quite tender. The area that swelled, bulged and discolored is about 8 inches in length along the vein. Do I need to get it looked at?

Hello,

As with the history, it appears to me there is a direct high thirst impact of the ball over the lateral aspect of the leg. There won't be any fracture so be assured. This must be a soft tissue injury leading to the healing process to occur. Some sort of internal bleeding but it will heal so nothing to worry.

Kindly do hot water fermentation then keep the leg over the pillow in the lying position and perform ankle toe movements this will help the muscles to become stronger and remove excessive metabolic waste.

In my clinical practice of 12 years, such cases recover faster and back to sports.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
