Suggest Treatment For Swelling & Pain On The Wrist

Hi,my name is cherise. I fell 3 wks ago slamming my wrist on stairs. Went to emerngcy rm. They took xrays & wrap it til follow up appt with othopedic. Orthopedic put me in wrist brac for 3wks. I still have swelling & pain when trying to grip or grab with fingers.(turning knobs,holding pen,opening cap on bottles) I also stiill have a large hard bump ( I think bone) that's sticking out under thumb that hurts the most
