Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Bruised Eyes

Hi I was playing basketball and got elbowed under my left eyebrow. The only thing I notice was a small cut so I put a band aid over it an kept playing. This wasn't a good idea for, afterwards the swelling became enormous. I was also thinking that the sweat that got into the cut from me playing effected this process of being a minor injury to a major problem. When I got home I iced it, put peroxide, and Neosporin on it. I might have used a little more then what I should have used with the Neosporin for the cut cause now my eye wont open and the swelling is still big. This is the day after from me playing basketball. What should I do. Thank you. YYYY@YYYY

Hello
It seems from the history that you got injury to the eyes by elbow resulting in bruise of the eyelids.
The treatment you have done is correct in the form of cold compress and use of antibiotic eye ointment.
Along with this you need to use anti-inflammatory drugs.
The lid laceration may require suture, hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
