The arch of both of my feet have been swollen(you can feel the lump under the skin), pinkish, and very itchy. It comes and goes. Its been going on for over a month. not any other visible changes. I have tried arch support and it was very painful after wearing for a few hours.
hi. I have read your question and understand your concern.
from what you have described there are two possibilities. it can either be eczema or plantar psoriasis. although the initial treatment is similar for both disorders, I suggest you see your dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis.
the initial line of management for both is potent topical steroids like halovate ointment along with antihistamines like tab cetrizine.
hope this was helpful. for any further questions please get back to us. thanks.
