Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Itchy Hand After Wasp Bite

Yesterday i was stung on the hand by a red wasp. It tagged me where my figure meets my knuckle. Since then half of my hand has swollen fairly bad as well as my wrist. It itches like crazy, it s warm, and there is pain as well as it feels as if there is a knot in my arm pit.

Itching is a common manifestation of wasp bite. You can apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion over the itchy areas.Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used to reduce the pruritus. If not relieved by the above mentioned therapy then you might need to consult your dermatologist and he may suggest a short course of glucocorticoids to ruduce the inflammation. Regards
