Dear Patient
You are a heavy drinker, and this can cause chronic liver disease, which cause swelling on the feets, moreover you have history of straining on long walk, this could exagerrate the already compromised system and cause severe swelling.
The path you need to follow now is to first get X Rays done, if no injury get you renal hepatic function tests along with total proteins,
what is the status of you liver, that should be our main concern now.s
