Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Earlobe

My earlobe is very painful and swollen. During the night, Infjought it was bleeding but turned out to be some type of fluid. I had a second piercing in that lobe 6 weeks ago which healed well and gave me no problem. I think this issue may be coming from the lower piercing which Ibpve had for many years. There s also a bit of a hard bump in that area.

Hi
Welcome in H.C.M.

I understand your concern and it appears as your swollen ear lobule may be due to-

- Infection may be secondary to ear piercing.

- The metal of ear ring may be allergic to you.

Beside this you should rule out diabetes as well because that may also be responsible for increase susceptibility for infection.

in your case watery fluid is coming out that is more in favor of allergy. you may use any steroidal ointment to get relief.

Thanks for consulting H.C.M.
