Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Sore Nose With Pain Between Eyes
I m a 42 yr old female. I had a life ring stuck on my face/head, I was trying to put my head thru the hole, but got it stuck, just below my nose. I had to force it off by hitting it up and off my head, with doing so, I really hurt my nose. No blood, but it is REALLY sore, a bit swollen and I have some pain between my eyes, above & on the bridge of my nose.
As the life ring was struck between the face and head and you pulled it with force, then it is most likeliy to have caused you soft tissue injury..
Swelling and soreness are signs of inflammation post injury..
No need to worry about it, as it does not seems serious..
You can take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and do cool compresses over it till it is under 24 hours. After that you can start doing warm compresses..
In case if there is no improvement in 2-3 days or if there is worsening of symptoms consult an Emergency room and get checked..
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
