Hello,

If your child is active, and likes sport, the bruising is due to trauma he might have experienced during playing.
Ankle is the most vulnerable place to get this trauma especially if he likes football.

Now, everytime you notice the bruising, apply cold compresses to prevent further problems.

If you are still worried, can run a complete blood count, ERS tests to see if there is anything wrong in his blood.

Hope this helps.
