I've been having swollen eye lids and below eyes swelling for two months! Went to doctor and was given steroid shots for two weeks -- it helped some but they are still swelling! I've done all of the normal checks: no new foods, detergents, soaps, or make up! What else can I do? I've been to eye doc who sent me to dermatologist . My general practition said I should see eye doc.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having swollen eyelids for two months. The swollen eyelids are seen in local eye conditions like allergies of eyelids, inflammations of eyes and following injuries to the eyes or eyelids. However in long standing cases and with the absence of eye disease, systemic causes like heart diseases, renal conditions have to be ruled out. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
