Suggest Treatment For Swollen Feeling In Throat And Irritation

I am always drinking water, milk, Kool-Aid, Ever once and a while a soda. For the past 2 weeks I have been getting a irated throat. Not really sore but feels swollen or full. It has gotten bad lately. If I were to get a cold or my noise stops up I am afraid I will not be able to breathe.

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

This could be upper respiratory infection.

I recommend the following.
1) A course of antibiotics.
2) Analgesics like paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain relief.
3) Salt water gargling.

You will be fine.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
