Suggest Treatment For Swollen Glands In The Neck

swollen glands on the right side of neck. neck hurts when I turn my head and all the way to my ear. had strep test negative. severe headache goes away with advil. throat is not sore but feel like a lump on the side of throat. puss pockets in throat but no strep. im a 46 year old female no fever just fatigue and neck pain for 3 days. taking zpack even though suggested that it is a viral infection by primary care physician. just never had pain in the neck just on one side.

Hello
Sounds like lymph node enlargement. Z pack is a good antibiotic. Please take a good dosage, usually 500mg once daily for 3 days.
Please take advil 400 twice daily which would reduce the inflammation. Symptoms should come down in a day or two.
