Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Gland Behind Ear
Hi there ,i m a bit concerned i have and swollen lymph gland behind my right ear, my left ear is fine . i don t smoke or drink i drink lots and lots of water to flush out my system. Its being there for a while there is no pain and it feels like its on the surface. I am a bit nervous going to see my GP i have a Fobia of blood test and medcine , please could u give me some suggestions and advice thank you

As per your complain a swollen painless bump behind ear can be a swollen post auricular lymph node while it can also be due to other causes like a sebaceous cyst or a Lipoma and both these conditions are non fatal.. Any confirmation can be done only after a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations [if required] like Biopsy/FNAC of the lump.. In case if it is a swollen lymph node you can take a short course of antibiotics and do warm compresses over it for resolution.. But in case if it is sebaceous cyst or lipoma removal has to be done..
