Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Node At The Bottom Of Lip
Hello, I am a 20 y/o male. I have what I am assuming is a swollen lymph node in my bottom lip. Close by and to the left of the swollen node, my gun line is receding... I am worried that this may not be a swollen node and that it may not be related to the receding gum line and of course I worry about cancer. Do you have any advise?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain if the lump is on the inner side of cheek it can be a mucous cyst or a mucocele or else it can also be initiation of an apthous ulcer.. The receding gum also known as Gingival recession is due to gum infection causing loss of gum attachment over the tooth..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and treatment can be planned according to the diagnosis.. As of now do salt water rinses and for receeding gums apply a gum paint over the gums and also get scaling and curettage done to restrict further damage..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
