i have two swollen lymph nodes in my neck. theyre not too bad. i dont have a cold anymore. my doctor said it will take a couple of days to go down. i just wanted to confirm how long it would take, and want more information about it. its right below my jaw and neck

Hi,
It seems that you might be having chronic lymphadenitis in your neck and sub-mandibular region.
Nothing to worry, it might remain for long time without having any problem.
If it enlarges or become painful then consult your doctor to rule out any infection in near by parts.
