Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
She has enlarged lymphnode with viral infection. So most probably it is due to reactive hyperplasia of lymphnode. It is self limited. However if it remains persists then you should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It can be due to tuberculosis or lymphoma.
She should take a course of antibiotics. If it is doesn't respond to treatment then biopsy diagnosis is advisable.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
