Suggest Treatment For Swollen Painful Earlobe Post Wearing Earplugs

Hi, i tried using magnetic, non-piercing plugs for my ears as a cosplayer, and they always seemed to hurt my ears because of how long i d wear them. At first, i could wear them multiple times and it d have no effect, but it eventually started to cut into my ear. It happened more than once, and i d just remove the scab and forget about it, but now after removing the scab again, my earlobe has been slightly swollen in that one spot and hasn t healed in over 2 months. It doesn t irritate or hurt, but it s texture has yet to return, and as i m looking to get my ears pierced now (to avoid using magnetics again) i d like to know what i can do to help it heal.

Hello
Its good decision that you stopped using those magnetic press. Keep the area clean and apply neosporin H ointment over it. Avoid piercing till complete healing. Always try to use earings made of inert metals.
