Suggest Treatment For Swollen Penis After Hernia Surgery

Hello, im really hoping ur a legit doctor. Please dnt take offense to that. Okay my boyfriend had a double hernia surgery 3 days ago. I jnow hes gonna be un intense pain in certain areas and so in. Okay niw heres main problem, his penis is extremely swollen and red and purple.called doctor applying heat on and off. Kinda freakn out tho ALOT MORE SWOLLEN today than yesterday, doctor he has is very dry and doesnt say to much, hate that plz help me for sime solutions! Urgent answer im really stressed thank u so.much sincerely * Laura

Hi,

It might be due to some injury / irritation to the inner tissue of penis during the process of catheterization. Hence, he may need some course of anti-inflammatory / anti-pain OTC drugs as well as, if signs of infection are present, he may also require a course of anti-biotics under guidance of the doctor.
