Suggest Treatment For Swollen Throat With Diabetes During Pregnancy

hi this is about my mother she s 34 years old and 8 months pregnant about 5 5 and approx 175 pounds she has diabetes (gestacional) as well. Today she had a weird reaction and her throat got swollen. shes not allergic to anything. And she had gone to the doctor s office and made her take some medicine. but later on the swelling came back and she hasnt ate anything cause of the pain in her throat. We took her to urgent care a while ago and yet again the swelling has came back, she s hungry and tired and the swelling isn t going down. What can we give her?.

1] From your history it can be some kind of throat infection or allergic reaction.
2] I will suggest , Tab MOX CV 625 mg twice a day for 5 days
TANTUM OR BETADINE mouth wash gargles. Tab ATARAX 2 times a day for 2-3 days.
3] Please get blood sugar checked. Consult the physician who is handling her gestational diabetes.
4] Please give her plenty of water and liquid diet.
5] continue with her pre existing medicines.
