Hello, For the past 2 years I have had two small nodules (4cm each) on the left side of my thyroid. I get them examined (ultrasound) every six month to ensure that they haven t grown...and they haven t. My last ultrasound was 2 months ago. For the past 2 weeks, I have noticed a soft flat lump in the middle of my throat (slightly towards the left). Should I be concerned. I am a 37 year old female, 58 kg, 5 ft 6. Thank you.
Dear friend, Greetings from HCM. i understand your concern. you now need to get all the immunological and biochemical investigations done too along with the scan. With the scan we have to see whether it is a hot or cold nodule. later we need to check for anti thyroidantibodies. please meet the endocrinologist for further advice thanking you and do contact us for more queries
