Suggest Treatment For Tenderness And Pain In Knee After Injury
Hello so today I was playing tackle football and I got tackled and my friends leg got caught under my left leg causing my leg to be propped up a little and then his butt and body fell on my knee causing it to bend in because it was slightly propped up. I didnt hear a pop which is good but after that when I played my lwft knee would shake when I put a lot of pressure on it and im home now but when I walk up and down the stairs in my house or twist my knee when im walking it feels very tender. I wanted to ask what you may think it is?
Hello, I have studied your case and I think that you might be having knee ligament or cartilage injury. I would suggest you following. 1. Apply knee brace so that there should not be further damage to your knee. 2. Ice and rest is also help ful. 3. Compression bandage will prevent swelling. 4. Tablet Brufen one to two daily. You need to get MRI of the knee joint to confirm the diagnosis. If there is any ligament tear than you might need arthroscopic knee surgery. You can share your MRI report with me. I can help you in further management.
