My husband has seen his family doctor and had an ultra sound for his testicle pain and back pain. A mass was found and it was treated with antibiotics. Two weeks later he is still in pain...both right back and right testicle. He is scheduled for a Urologist. He is a 43 year old male. Any thoughts???
Hi. Thanks for the query concerning your husband having pain and mass on the right side of the scrotum which has persisted even after antibiotic treatment. The correct decision can be take by having an MRI of the scrotum as it will show whether this mass is inflammatory or due to cancer. If cancer is suspected, the only treatment is excision and to continue further treatment as per the findings of MRI of the abdomen and chest for secondary lymph node status.
