I am really sorry to hear that about your bladder..
Hi and welcome to HCM..
I am here to help you out..
I being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases and I can say that if you do not have any tumors then do not worry..
I read your question completely and have understood it well enough..
Bladder wall thickening is generally seen in what is known as
cystitis.
Please note the following few facts..
1. As such if your
CT scan is normal except that bladder wall is thickened.
It happens in infection. Called cystitis.
2. You also say that you pass foul smelling urine. Again this indicates,
urinary tract infection, Uti and that could be involving only bladder.
3. Do you also have, burning sensation while passing urine?
Frequency of urination increased?
Blood discharge etc!?.
All these again hint towards Uti.
Well, do not worry. We can come to the diagnosis and treatment can be offered later.
Please get these two tests done .
1. Urine routine and microscopy
2. Urinary culture
These will tell us, the infection present or no. What kind of organism causing this and the antibiotics to be given.
Hope this helps you..
Whatever it is, please drink lots of water, say about 4 litre a day.
In case you need any help with this, please let me know..
Take care and God bless you..
