hi i am 24 year old female. Having hair thinning issues. My father has the same problem so i guess its genetic. I have done various blood tests and all my results are normal. I have tried a lot of medication nothing seems to work. Finally i am applying dr. Reddy s 5% minoxidil but i am having very bad hair fall due to this. I dont know what to do? is there any hope? I have wide parts and bald spots. I am going to get married in 6 months. I dont know what to do..its affecting my self confidence.
I can understand your concern for hair loss. Hair fall can be due to any long term illness or any emotional or stressful event and due to nutritional deficiency or hormonal influence.
After illness or stress and nutritional dysfunction it is quite common to get hair fall because of change of nutritional and hormonal status.
If I were your dermatologist then would have prescribed you tablet containing Acetylcysteine, Calcium Pantothenate, Selenium, Zinc, Biotin, Copper as active ingredients. You can take these vitamins in the form of biotin, calicium pantothenate and other vitamin B complexes.
Regarding minoxidil, it should be strictly applied under dermatological supervision only.
Take care.
