I have been having an uncomfortable feeling of a pill caught in my throat, and mild pain under the sternum. I have had on and off for a few years, but it has resurfaced and at night is worse. feels if I could burp it would relieve it but I am unable to.
hello welcome to healthcare to me it looks like GERD. if you were my patient , i would suggest you to start PPI like rabeprazole with domperidone once daily morning empty stomach. apart from the pharmacological treatment, you should folow anti reflux measures like adequate fluids, avoid spicy food, tea, coffee, smoking junk food. avoid lying down after heavy meals. take light frquent meals instead of heavy . you will be alright
