Suggest Treatment For Throat Infection Along With Nasal Congestion

Hello my 3 yr old was sick with a throat infection and on antibiotics... he just got finished with that as of yesterday. During that time he was also badly congested to the point where he could not breath through his nose. Needless to say I havent slept in days. Now around midnight he coughed and vomited his dinner ( ravioli) im hoping its not a virus because he has no other symptons. I have him sleeping upright on the couch next to me and he hasnt vomited in about an hour now. Should I be worried? what could this be?

Since the child had throat infection it is associated with congestion in nose as well and at this age adenoids add to obstruction, so it would be advised to add nasal drops like nasivion 2 drops three times a day along with decongestant T minic syrup thrice and continue antibiotics for a week.
