Suggest Treatment For Throat Irritation Leading To Cough
The last 10 hours I have been coughing bad due to something that I think got stuck in my throat when breathing in. All of a sudden I felt like a tiny fly go in and it tikkles and itches really bad. Please, some advise how I should try to get rid of it. PS it can also be a bit of tobacco, I usually don t smoke but on my vacation to Greece (where this happened) i couldn t resist buying tobacco for rolling my own cigarettes without filter. MIchael
This seems to be beginning of an upper respiratory infection. Just try taking tab levocetirizine 5mg at night, along with warm saline gargles 3-4 times a day for 5 days. If feeling throat pain or feverish, take paracetamol also. If not getting low by two days, kindly see your doctor as this may need antibiotic too.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
