Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain After Swallowing Chewing Gum
I accidentally swallowed a piece of chewing gum a few days ago (one of many incidences) and I m starting to think it got stuck in my throat. Every time I swallow solids or liquids, I feel a pain in my throat. I can breathe and talk normally, this pain is just a nuisance.
It is very unlikely that you have chewing gum sticking in your throat or food passage. The pain may be due to mild infection and swelling. Consult your ENT doctor and take a course of prescribed treatment which may include an antibiotic.
