Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain Due To Tosillitis
Tonsillitis, 3rd night. Things are getting better but still very very painful to swallow. Its 3am and I've finally gotten out of bed after hours of excessive saliva and the need to burp - both of which make getting to sleep difficult. I know its only temporary...but is there a temporary solution?!!?!
If you have oral anti inflammatory pain killers available to you then this would help relieve your pain. This includes medications such as ibuprofen/aspirin/naproxen.
In addition gargling in agents such as soluble aspirin or salt water would also be helpful.
There are oral gargles, sprays or lozenges that are available to help with sore throat such as chloroseptic, diflam, bethadine
I hope this helps
