Hello,

It seems to be acute pharyngitis like Tonsillitis case.

Your work up is done as follows:
-CBC
-Posterior pharynx examination
-ASO titre

Decongestant drug like levocetrizine or phenylephrine can be prescribed. Salt water gargle done with warm water three times a day.

Diluted betardine gargle is also useful. Antibiotic course can be prescribed like amoxicillin plus clavulenic acid combination.

Avoid excess spicy foods and oily foods. Take vitamin C tablets for five days. Consult physician or an otorhinolaryngologist for examination and get prescription.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
