Your work up is done as follows: -CBC -Posterior pharynx examination -ASO titre
Decongestant drug like levocetrizine or phenylephrine can be prescribed. Salt water gargle done with warm water three times a day.
Diluted betardine gargle is also useful. Antibiotic course can be prescribed like amoxicillin plus clavulenic acid combination.
Avoid excess spicy foods and oily foods. Take vitamin C tablets for five days. Consult physician or an otorhinolaryngologist for examination and get prescription.
