Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain While Swallowing Followed By Nasal Blockage, Runny Nose And Sneezing
I had throat pain while swallowing from 25th evening. Took Vicks inhalation and after two days pain subsided but nasal blockage, watery nose, cold and sneezing started from 27th. From today morning fewer also is there. What medication is desirable? Currently taking Sinarest from today
To get relief, you can take antihistamine. Nasal irrigation and steam inhalation will help to give relief. Saline nasal drops are helpful. You can take pain relieving medicines for reduction in throat pain. You can take mucolytics and gargle two times daily with salt water.
Take liquid food or semi solid food like oats or porridge so that you don't hurt your throat. Give voice rest. Keep cough lozenges in your mouth to prevent dryness of the mucosa. Take adequate amount of water and fluids. Stay in a room with room humidifier for better comfort decongestants may be helpful if you have sinusitis.
