Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing a throbbing pain in my anal region since the past few days. I had an occurrence of blood passing with my stools last week, however thereafter there has been no blood flow with stools. But the throbbing pain doesn t seems to go. It worsens when I am sitting for a long time in a particular position. However there is no pain when I pass stools.
Hi thanks for asking question. Throbbing pain usually occurs when there is pus collection present... You might had small anal abscess ... Other possibility could be proctitis or anal fissure.....
Consult surgeon for proctoscopy examination... Meanwhile take less spicy diet with more water. If CBC show leukocytosis antibiotic started. Stool softener laxative can be taken... Anal warm water sitz bath can be taken. Take ibuprofen like antiinflammatory drug..
Hope your concern solved. Take care ..
