Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of being 45 years male with controlled
ulcerative colitis, on
lisinopril/HCTZ and
Crestor and Asacol prn. Have symptoms of constant low abominal throbbing / pulsatile sensation, all reports normal. Difficult to sleep sometimes.
If there is a sensation, there is a possibility of something.
This may be classically found only on a proper clinical evaluation and examination during the throbbing sensation. Examination and tests when not in symptoms may not be found.
Hence I would advise you to have
ultrasonography with color doppler examination when you have sensation and then only it may be possible o get the proper diagnosis.
The possible causes can be:
Inflammation of the organ in the abdomen.
There can be a
aneurysm which gets activated only on increased blood pressure and hence you need repeated examination.
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen on a multi-slice machine may get you the diagnosis.
Diagnostic
laparoscopy can help sometimes for diagnosis and treatment.
