I am from North India. I have been working in Chennai for last 2 years. My age is 28 years. Recently, i came to know that i am suffering from thyroid disease. My TSH level is 7.9. Please answer the following questions (a) How much serious is this (b) Is it curable or not (c) How much expensive it will be, if curable (d) Whether i have to come back to North India because food is not suited to me or i can continue here itself. Thanks in Advance
Hi, a TSH of 7.9 does not require medicine. Exercise vigorously, loose weight. You can continue there. Avoid cabbage. If it goes above 10--then treat. We cannot predict whether your TSH will be cured, but it definitely can be controlled--regards
