Hi there, I row for my university but have been out of training for a while and my fitness it probably quite bad however today was the first day of training camp and for the second second session of the day we had to do a 30 minute test at 20 strokes per minute (quite low race pace is usually around 32-34 and paddle pace is 18) According to my heart rate monitor ( a polar ft4) my heart rate was around 200 bpm for the majority of the 30 minutes apart from twenty seconds when I got a drink of water 16 minutes in where it went down to 194 briefly, it peaked at 204bpm and I've been feeling sick since and have a slight tightness in the chest, is this a problem? Or is it normal?
