Suggest Treatment For Tightness In Throat With Spasms
I just had a strange tightness in my throat that made my ears ring. Kind of felt like a spasm right around the bottom of the throat. It is subsiding now but still there. Lasted around 5 minutes. I am 54 with no history of heart disease and in good health. I am 67 inches tall, 190 pounds.

Feeling of lump,tightness in throat can be attributed to globus sensation.The differential diagnosis of the same includes reflux disease,esophageal spasms,thyroiditis,cricopharnygeal spasms,tumors,anxiety,globus pharyngeus.If short lived then no active intervention needed,if persisting then consult your ent for detailed examination to rule out these.
