Hi Dr. Grief -- I was diagnosed with Tinnitus in February of this year. It seemed to happen after I had a sinus infection. One day I was fine the next day I had this ringing. It now has affected my hearing and I wear 2 hearing aids. I am looking for the cause and treatment for this. 2 doctors have told me basically to live with this. I feel something had to cause it to happen so quickly. Can you provide any assistance? Thank you. Linda
hello, thanks for your query, people with hearing loss do have tinnitus, if they are adjusted with hearing aid, tinnitus will go off. tell your audiologist to adjust the adjustments of hearing aid. if it's still trouble some, ask your ent surgeon to give medications or go for cold laser therapy.hope i have answered your query. all the best. take care.
