Suggest Treatment For Tinnitus

Hi,I am having ringing sensation in my ears for last 15 days, my audiogram and impedance tests were fine showing little congestion,otherwise I m healthy,I took augmenting antibiotics for 10 days on my doctors prescription but still the sensation persists,now she has asked me to take omnacortil 10 mg for 9 days.does this steroid really help me at this time? Are there any side effects,please help.thank you.

I understand your concern, since you are having tinnitus for last 15 days so it most likely due to Labyrinthitis. It may be viral or bacterial. As your audio gram and Impedance testing is normal, therefore need not worry. You please continue steroids and may take following also for good recovery-

1- Ginkobilova.

2- Caroverine.

3- Methicobalamine.
