Hi, I was lying in bed just now and suddenly I could hear a buzzing-type noise in my right ear. I can still hear it, and my ear has gone quite numb. Nothing like this has happened to me before, although I have had an ear infection that has been lingering around for the last week or two. What should I do? Thanks Jordan
There could be a block in the Eustachian tube (the tube connecting nose and the ear). You need to use the nasal decongestants available over the counter. If the symptoms persist consult an apt ENT specialist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
