Suggest Treatment For Tinnitus?

I have been living with noise sensation for about a year now. The slightest noise makes a jolting in my head and ears. I walk around with tentinus 24/7 and I always have pressure in my head. I had studies done and nothing was found but a little white matter that was said to be normal. I am beside myself and don t know what to do. Have you ever dealt with these symthoms?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that continuous ringing in ears can occur due to long term exposure to continuos sounds and in that case even low pitched sounds can also lead to tinnitus and it seems to be a cause in your case..
As your son has got slapped over the ear, perforation of the eardrum might have occurred due to sudden blow and it has led to ringing in ears..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Audiometry, x Ray MRI can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised medicines like Tricyclic Anti-depressant like Amitryptiline, anti anxiety medication like Alprazolam, as well as Multivitamin supplements can be advised..
White noise devices can be advised..
You can also be advised Neuromodulation..
Avoid exposure to very loud sounds and also avoid diving, swimming etc..
You should also use earplugs when exposed to continuous sounds..
Stress relaxation exercises and meditation can also help..
